New Instagram Photos Suggest Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Got Married This Holiday Season
Cyrus and Hemsworth may have tied the knot in a secret low-key ceremony.
We knew Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were getting married, but we didn't know when. Now it seems the longtime celebrity couple has tied the knot in an intimate ceremony two days before Christmas.
People close to the two have shared pictures of an event that reportedly took place at Cyrus' Tennessee home on Sunday, Dec. 23.
Pro-surfer Conrad Carr shared a pic of Liam and his brothers, Chris and Luke Hemsworth, doing shots. Pink balloons with the words "Mr. and Mrs." are in the background of the image.
He also posted a picture of Hemsworth and Cyrus wearing a black suit and white dress next to cupcakes and what looks like a wedding cake.
Cyrus' sisters, Noah and Brandi, were in attendance, in addition to their mom, Tish Cyrus. The pictures didn't reveal if Cyrus' father, Billy Ray Cyrus, was also there.
At some point, Noah posted an Instagram story of herself crying with a broken heart graphic.
It's been a wild ride for the two, but if they've finally decided to take the plunge, we couldn't be happier for them. Cyrus and Hemsworth first connected on the set of their 2010 film, The Last Song. Hemsworth proposed in 2012, but they broke off the engagement in 2013.
"I needed to change so much," Cyrus told Billboard of the breakup in 2017. "And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard. Suddenly you're like, 'I don't recognize you anymore.' We had to refall for each other."
In 2015, they cautiously reconnected — and the rest is history.
