Jeff Goldblum Stars in the First 'Independence Day' Sequel Selfie

After years of Production Hell, filming for Independence Day 2 is finally underway, and the movie's first selfie just went online Tuesday. Producer Dean Devlin posted a photo to Instagram showing him next to the movie's star, Jeff Goldblum.

It's been 19 years since the original movie hit theaters, and many of its stars will be returning in the sequel. Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, and Vivica A. Fox are all coming back, but sadly Will Smith won't be returning. Liam Hemsworth and Charlotte Gainsbourg will also be joining the cast. But the important thing here is that The Goldblum is on set, so everyone can relax. He's got this alien invasion thing covered.
