We So Can’t Handle Cate Blanchett and Jeff Goldblum’s Looks in the New ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Trailer

Let's have a closer look at the faces of this silly-good punk-rock trailer.

The first trailer for Thor: Ragnarok was released Monday, and boy is there a lot going on. The clip seems to have taken more of a Guardians of the Galaxy approach to trailer making with its retro style and killer classic rock soundtrack. Also featured in the trailer is a humorous arena fight between a short-haired (!) Thor and the Hulk (a.k.a "a friend from work"), plus an evil Cate Blanchett doing evil things to the tune of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song." It's edgy, '80s, and a pretty damn good time. Any fan of the series, like myself, should feel pumped.

Aside from the aesthetic of the whole thing, the clip also features some very memorable and surprising looks. Let's start with the God of Thunder himself, who, we know, we know, got a brand new haircut.

Looking good, Thor, but we're still kind of missing the longer, blonder hair.

Then we have Cate Blanchett, who is practically unrecognizable as Hela, the Goddess of Death. But she slays. The Goth look suits her, oddly enough.

We now move on to Loki's face, which, despite all the evil he's cooking up, still makes us want to caress it and love it forever. We can always count on Loki's face to make us feel things. Thank you, Loki.

Finally, Exhibit D.

In Thor: Ragnarok, Jeff Goldblum slips into the role of The Grandmaster who is the ruler of Sakaar. Have a quick look. The hair, the eyeliner. Goldblum's look is perfect and truly something to admire and behold.

Goodness, there is so much camp here, I can't handle it. But #SoIntoIt.

Sadly, we'll have to wait until Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters in November to see all this campy goodness.
