Bill Pullman and Jeff Goldblum Will Both Be in the 'Independence Day' Sequels

(Getty Images)When we reported yesterday that Will Smith would not be back for the two planned Independence Day sequels because he's "too expensive," we speculated that maybe Roland Emmerich could swing the budget for bringing Jeff Goldblum onboard. Apparently he can.

While speaking with Movies.com to promote White House Down, Emmerich revealed that Goldblum, who played the hunky scientist who helped save the world in the first movie would be back, and so would Bill Pullman, who played the incredibly badass president who helped defend Earth in a fighter jet.
